Formål

The objective of the course is to study the interrelations between communication, organizations and culture. Communication is a social activity, a process, which both produces and reproduces social systems of different types. The outcome of the communicative processes is different types of social organisms or organizations. Organizations are social structures, which work as patterns for expectations; expectations that are often hidden but which nevertheless form the culture or the identity of the given organization.

Indhold

The course will be based upon texts from systems theory, semiotics and theories about organizations and culture.
