20 år med kinesisk Rock 'n' Roll: Stadigvæk en revolution?
I sommeren 2006 fejrede Kinas rockmusikere 20 års jubilæum for deres profession i Beijing. I løbet af dette forholdsvise korte tidsrum er kinesisk rockmusik ikke blot blevet ledsaget af PRC's reformpolitik, men er også blevet én af deres aktiv aktører og ændrede sig fra at være et undergrundsfænomen til at være en både kommerciel og populær forbrugsenhed og en ny livsstil. Seminaret rummer et overblik over Kinas rockhistorie og det skal give indsigt i forskellige perioder og stilarter. Derudover studeres de vigtige sange nøje og der tilstræbes en udforskning af kulturelle og sociale betydninger af kinesisk rock i en globaliseret verden.
