Læringsmål

  • Be able to understand the interdisciplinary topics and relations which are necessary in the design of automation and robotics in regard to plant production
  • Be able to analyse the complexity of systems of both plants and technical systems
  • Be able to identify areas where the relation between system and object (e.g. plant, organ or environment) is particularly demanding
  • Be able to explain and define specifications for automation based on an analysis of the biological production system
  • Be able to explain the functionality and working dependable operating characteristics for sensors, navigation systems such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Local Positioning Systems (LPS), systems for energy control, system for control and surveillance
  • To understand embedded cognition (sensing inference) for optimal use of robotics and automation
  • To consider the selection of system and component in relation to the requirementsand differences in the applications

Bedømmelse

Approval is a combination of 3 written reports 8-10 pages and oral examination. Two reports are worked out in groups of 3-5 students, and the last is done individually. Each student specifies the contribution to the reports. Oral examination for 20 min. without means of aid. The reports and the oral exam counts equal.

Internal examiner, the Danish 7-point grade scale
