Indhold

Topics in Economics and Management is a special course of study used as an umbrella for students writing a small paper in a topic of their choice, hence it is possible for the students to work on a topic where there is not enough students to justify lecture series. The subject of the paper must be accepted by a faculty member who will act as a supervisor.

The paper may form the basis for an oral examination - before the paper is handed in the supervisor decides whether an oral exam will be used. When the topics paper has been accepted and the student has handed in one copy to the supervisor, the student will also have signed up for the topics exam. When an oral examination is required, the supervisor will inform the student about the exact time of the examination.

Upon application to the Study board for Economics and Management, the 10 ECTS paper may count as one of the written activities required in the academic regulations for the MSc-program (see below).

The title of the topics paper will be indicated on the student's course diploma.
