The course introduces the student to basic statistical methods in the agricultural and environmental domain. The course introduces the student to analysis of variance, regression analysis and the general linear model, emphasizing the application of the methods including model selection, model checking and model criticism. The course will familiarize the student with statistical analysis of typical data in agricultural and environmental science using statistical programming environment R.

At the end of the course, the student is expected being capable to:
Perform an statistical analysis of typical data from the domain, including model criticism and conclusions from the results of the analysis
Report on analysis of a given set of data
Internal examiner, the Danish 7-point grade scale.
