The aim of the course is to enable the student to analyse, design and implement an embedded design consisting of analogue-, digital- and PC-based parts interacting with one another.
Furthermore, the student will participate in the collective subject in methodology, where the aim is to develop the methodology awareness of the student in relation to assignment work.
Such a systematic working and problem-solving method is important for the report and project writing during the student's entire educational course.
In this course, 2.5 ECTS points are used on theory of science and methodology.
The main focus is the following points:
Concerning the methodology work, the following will be in focus:
Based on a specific problem area, the student will be trained in preparing a clear problem formulation and in operationalising it in a series of issues to be explored. The student will be trained in identifying relevant analysing methods in order to clarify the problem and prepare proposals for the choice of research design.
The teaching will at the beginning take place as theory teaching in the form of a double lesson where the basic scientific method is introduced. This is followed by a virtual process partly in form of self-tuition but with the possibility of academic communication with both the teacher and fellow students.
EBED2 and EBSD2 must be passed
