Formål
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

The satisfactory fulfilment of the learning aims of the course requires that the student can
-
put the particular elements of the subject in their social context, and describe the social factors which the law is intended to regulate and the social considerations which lie behind the rules,
-
identify the main problems of property law and describe the most important basic considerations and principles of property law, including the most important legislation and the rules applied by the courts,
-
apply the relevant considerations and principles of property law to specific cases, including being able to make an evaluation of conflicting points of view and present an argument for a specific solution,
-
identify which problems in this field require specialist knowledge,
-
acquire an overview of the practical and more transaction-based issues relating to property law of the kind the students can later expect to meet in their work as an economist,
-
give an outline of the procedure and content of the most important methods for resolving conflicts and enforcement, and
-
understand and to a certain extent use legal terms and concepts.
Indhold
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The aim of the course is to give an overview of the field of property law, give the student knowledge of the core legal rules and an understanding of the legal terms and concepts used, and methods for resolving conflicts, with a view to developing the student's ability to work with lawyers in their future careers.
