No previous legal experience is needed
The course is compulsory for all students of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration education.
The aim of the course is to provide the students with a basic knowledge of the Danish legal system and the legislation regarding trade and business primarily in Denmark but also to a limited extent at an international level. Furthermore, the students will obtain insight into the fundamental principles of EC Law, the different legal measures of the EC and the legislation concerning the internal market and competition within the EC.
The course includes the following subjects:
The students are expected to show commitment and curiosity toward the legal disciplines. The more the individual student takes part in discussions based on practical examples, the better is the understanding for the legal discipline which the individual student will achieve. To a large extent the student is responsible for his/her own learning. The aim is that the student achieves a perspective of the current legal rules - in particular the rules relating to commerce - and in this way is able to anticipate legal problems.
Prior knowledge is assumed within Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and International Finance and Investment corresponding to the curriculum on the 1 st, 2 nd and 4 th Semesters.
