Formål

The objective is that the student produces a bachelor project report in one of the languages studied. The bachelor project should illustrate the student's ability to account for, analyse, reflect on and argue for a problem statement and its solution. The student is expected to include knowledge and relevant theories acquired during the study in general. In addition, the student should demonstrate an ability to collect, analyse and apply new knowledge.

Furthermore, the student is expected to communicate professionally and appropriately in the chosen language.

Indhold

Students complete a bachelor project report individually or in groups of two to max. four participants.. The language used in the project report must be one of the languages studied. The bachelor project must be related to one of the 6 th semester electives. See respective course descriptions for more detailed guidelines concerning content and length.

The project work should be based on a real problem identified, e.g. in a firm/company or organisation, or on a theoretical problem. The bachelor project work is determined by the group member(s) in the sense that the topic(s) and problem identification are not set by the instructor / supervisor.

The extent and scope of cooperation between the supervisor and the report author(s) are to be agreed individually. All supervision should be based on proposals from the student(s) concerning:

  • Identification of topic
  • Problem formulation and delimitation
  • Choice of methodology
  • Structuring
  • Time schedule

The student(s) must apply the methodology introduced in the course "Methodology Light" taken in one of the previous semesters.

Personlig udvikling

The project work should encourage the student to view the areas covered during the entire study programme in an integrated and operational perspective. As the project work will typically be completed in groups, the process will develop the students' ability to work in teams with focus on own competences as well as competences gained in cooperation with others.

Faglige forudsætninger

As the bachelor project work is placed in the 6 th semester of the study programme, the student must have taken the other courses offered in previous semesters.
