Formål

When passing the course the student shall be able to:

  • To demonstrate the application of thermodynamic theory to describe energy technical systems.
  • Explain the basic theory for energy technical process systems
  • To reason the main dependent parameters to control and optimise specific elements and characteristics for energy technical systems.
  • To simulate the function of energy technical process systems.

Læringsmål

This course is addressed at engineers that are going to work with thermal and flow technical systems. The goal is make the student understand the basic functionality and theory on system level. In this way the course prepares the student for jobs including operation, optimisation and problem solving on systems for process industry, heat generation and similar.

Indhold

  • Energy ballance and theory for non stationary systems
  • Heat transfer, Fourier's equation, one-dimensional. Systems based on different design
  • Dynamic simulation
  • System description, understanding and analysis

Faglige forudsætninger
