Efter gennemført modul kan den studerende på et videnskabeligt grundlag, forstået som et kritisk, systematisk og teoretisk funderet grundlag :
- demonstrere overblik over og indsigt i centrale antropologiske perspektiver og begreber samt deres videnskabsteoretiske forankring
- analysere, diskutere og vurdere antropologiske begreber herunder deres relevans for analysen af pædagogiske forhold.
I dette modul fokuseres på antropologiske begrebsliggørelser af relevans for den pædagogiske antropologi. Modulet er således teoretisk funderet. Det antropologiske bliks konstituering behandles gennem diskussion af centrale begrebsliggørelser, herunder "kultur", "folk" og "felt". Der lægges desuden vægt på forskellige begrebsliggørelsers sammenhæng med forskellige vidensformer (rationalitet, relativisme, perspektivisme etc.) - samt på deres analytiske relevans i relation til pædagogiske forhold.
