Indhold

Environmental studies is an interdisciplinary course in which theory and methods of individual subjects has to give insight into the different aspects of basic environmental problems. By combining some of the core knowledge from Natural Science, Health Science, Social Science and Humanity, the course will give the students the possibility to achieve a holistic understanding of complex environmental problems. Throughout the course, lectures and seminars in the different disciplines will be grouped around themes such as water, energy and nature management wherever possible. Thus complex subjects will be analysed from different points of view over a period of up to several weeks. To relate theory and practice, excursions, field work and study visits are an integrated part of the course.
