The objective of the course is to provide the student with the ability to, based on theoretical knowledge and a practical understanding, to analyse a given investment or financing decision and based on a number of alternatives calculations discuss the different solutions based on risk and return.
The course is focusing on a number of subjects in the area of : investments, financing and risk management.
After the course the student should be able to:
Management accounting, statistics and mathematics, which are 1 st year courses on the B.Sc. B Intl. Management study programme - or the equivalent.

Lectures, exercises and a considerate amount of self-study towards the end of the semester (working on a case assignment)
The syllabus list and/or book list is available from the course responsible - and is also available via BlackBoard - the E-learning portal used at AU-IBT.
Interdisciplinary case with management accounting and financial accounting, based on a group report there will be an individual oral exam. Project report incl. oral defence.
Exchange students who do not follow all three courses will only answer the questions for their relevant course area (-s).
