Formål
The primary aim of the course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge to design, plan, develop and implement animated websites which include digital video in FLV format. The course will provide tools for this work in the form of use and implementation of ActionScript programming, Digital Video planning, shooting and editing, and development of fully animated Flash-based websites.
Indhold
To achieve this aim, students have to acquire the following qualifications:
a) Knowledge about:

Managing external communication through Flash (latest version)

Controlling sound

Loading external variables

Storing and sharing information

Providing alternatives to conditions

Manipulating information

Managing content and troubleshooting ActionScript
b) Proficiency in:

Development of complex animations

Planning, shooting and editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro (latest version)

Preparing, encoding and embedding video into Flash (latest version)

Common ActionScript library

Design, development, and implementation of buttons and event handling

Controlling multiple timelines

Controlling and displaying graphics

Use of ActionScript variables and expressions

Controlling text

Development of a design/technical manual (documentation)
