Academic Objectives In the final evaluation it will be taken into account to what extent the
student:
- demonstrates knowledge of research design;
- demonstrates ability to argue for theoretical and
methodological choices;
- demonstrates knowledge of how different forms of data and
material can be combined;
- is able to reflect on choice of methodology;
- can analyse qualitative data
- demonstrates the ability to present own research results to a
target audience.
The objective of this course is to further develop the student's ability to
plan, design and carry out an interdisciplinary research project and to
present it to a particular audience. During the course, the student will be
introduced to literature on how to design a research project, to identify,
collect and analyse relevant data, to write a relevant contribution in the
context pf an interdisciplinary research project and to present the research
results to a target audience.
The Student can only register for the examinations in the module Interdisciplinaryl Perspectives after
the examination in Analysing Culture and Society in Europe and Analysing European Institutions have
been passed.
The student can only register for the examination in The Project Theme 1 & 2 if he or she registers
for the examinations in Research Design, Methodology and Presentation Techniques during the same
semester.
