To provide a critical understanding of the normative foundations and perspectives of war.
A series of lectures will be on philosophical ethics and its current discussion of the many facets of the ethics of war. However, important contributions will come from other disciplines like law, history of ideas and political science. Afternoon arrangements will add perpectives from popular culture and public discourse.
BA degree in Philosophy or relevant discipline.

A seminar is a method of teaching that can include a combination of group work, student contributions, written exercises, group discussions and minor projects.
