After having attended and participated in the International Negotiation Competition the students will be able to understand negotiation as a disciplin and the cultural aspects hereof. The students will have represented fictive clients in real life legal scenarios and developed skills in such matter.
Regarding the national qualification Competition: The selection of a team will be done through a national qualification competition. The national competition (INC-DK) will be held in the Spring of 2010 - place is still to be decided as other universities might join the competition. Negotiating teams will be evaluated on
Participants will negotiate in two person teams in most likely two rounds until the finals. The one or two best national teams from Aarhus University will attend the national final competition. The winner of the finals will represent Denmark at INC in July 2010 (destination not released yet).
English at an academic level. In order to attend and participate in the International Negotiation Competition a team of two students must have won a national qualification competition. The setup of the national qualification competition is currently under revision with the participation of other Danish universities and will be launched public during Spring 2011.

Training arrangements: The team who wins the national negotiation competition will receive coaching in negotiation skills before participating in the International Negotiation Competition. Technical facilities: The School of Law will provide meeting and preparation facilities as well as practical arrangements for professional judging of the national negotiation rounds. Travelling expenses and accommodation will be covered by the School of Law under the State rules.
