Formål

LEARNING OBJECTIVES :

The main purpose of this course is to introduce microeconometric strategies and techniques allowing for identification of causal effects within labor, education, and health. These techniques should then be applied to address a relevant empirical question. In particular, the students should be able to:

  • Identify a relevant microeconomic question within labor, education, and health.
  • Identify a data set that facilitates addressing the research question.
  • Identify and apply the technique that is appropriate to address the research question.
  • Analyze the literature to identify the unique contribution of the project.
  • Reflect on the limitations of the technique and/or the data used.
  • Explain the entire analysis using clear and concise language (this regards both the written project report and the oral presentation).
