Advanced Topics in Quantitative Economics is a special course that can be used occasionally by IMSQE-students to study advanced level topics that are not covered by the regular lecture-based courses at the School of Economics and Management. The subject of the topic must be accepted by the supervisor of the IMSQE-student and the Director of Research.
Students who want to prepare an Advanced Topics paper should contact the Director of Research who will assist the student in finding a supervisor among the list of faculty members associated with the IMSQE-programme. The topic must be agreed upon with the supervisor, who may also provide a list of possible required reading. The paper (20 pages at most) must be handed in to the supervisor on the date agreed upon with him/her.
The title of the topics paper will be indicated on the student's course diploma.
The supervisor is selected from the list of faculty members associated with the IMSQE-programme.
Written assignment prepared under supervision.
